First, you need to make sure your power adapter is providing enough power to both run the netbook & charge the battery. A very good way to do this is to compare your netbook voltage & ampere requirements (written on a sticker on the bottom of the netbook ) with the voltage & ampere ratings of the power adapter. Voltages should be the same, or the power adapter's voltage about up to 0.5 volts more than the netbook's voltage rating. Amperage of the power adapter should be at least equal to or greater than the netbook's rating. It should never be less than the netbook's rating, or else the power adapter will be providing insufficient amperes to charge the battery. Of course, the power adapter's nominal amperage might be ok, but it degraded on usage. You can verify this by testing using a good or new power adapter.
If the battery did not charge using the new power adapter, take the battery off the
netbook, & using a dry tooth brush, scrub in between the fins of the battery connector on the motherboard & on the battery it self, then put the battery back into the netbook & try again.
If this still did not resolve the problem, then the battery itself could be bad. Try it on another
netbook, or try a good or new battery in your netbook.
If this did not work, there might be a possibility that the charging circuitry on the
netbook's motherboard is defective & needs servicing. In order to do this, the netbook needs to be disassembled & the motherboard checked for defective/burned out components in the area near the DC jack. Any defective/burned out components found should be replaced, or you might need to replace the netbook's motherboard altogether.

Review Asus Eee PC 1101 HA

asus-eee-pc-1101ha.jpg The Eee PC 1101HA netbook with a 11.6-inch display. For this and its characteristics could be defined almost a notebook. Obviously, a larger than normal netbook weighs more, but the Asus Eee PC 1101HA is a netbook with mobile calling. Asus Eee PC 1101HA promises up to eleven hours of PA3420U-1BRS battery life, thanks to the Intel Atom Z520 chip.
Homes and Design
The Eee PC 1101HA has the same form "shell" 1008HA Asus Eee PC. The case is polished and its shape makes it particularly elegant netbook. We noted that despite the gloss paint handprints not remain imprinted on the case easily. This Asus Eee PC 1000H is available in white pearl, black and pink crystal.
The hinges Eee PC 1101 HA self-locking (no mechanical locking) but well hoods that limits the opening angle to a maximum of 130 degrees, this makes little netbook fittings for use legs. The screen however is quite stable.
Asus EeePC 1101 declares that HA is able to provide even eleven hours of VGP-BPS2C battery life. Indeed, the netbook can reach eleven hours, but with the six-cell DV1000 Battery and without Wi-Fi active since our test Eee PC 1101 HA has worked from time to time reaching autonomy of 10, 48 hours. The test was performed with a non-intensive use and without wireless enabled. With wireless enabled netbook's Inspiron XPS M1710 battery life decreases by about three hours.
Weight and Dimensions
The amp 11.6-inch display makes the netbook a bit 'pesantino (1.38 kg) obviously increases the overall dimensions: height 21.80 cm, width 28 cm, depth 19.60 cm.
Cast a netbook for mobility, thanks to long HP dv4 Battery life, good performance that does not disdain. We can define Eee PC 1101HA netbook complete. In fact, the hardware equipment enables to easily perform common office work in comfort. With excellent value for money (currently about 360 million) this netbook is among the best in its class.

My ASUS eeePC won't run

When I and or friends have that symptom I normally start by disconnecting the power to it, that includes removing the battery, but as I write this I am thinking some Netbooks, Notebooks have Batteries encased, making it more difficult for the faint hearted owners to try and replace batteries when the needed. But yeah try that as most of the time that has helped me, if that doesn't work then we have to try and establish if Software problem OR Hardware, so good luck and please let us all know if that worked.

HP netbook won't turn on

Remove main battery and try again, if no! have the power adapter checked for correct voltage, if okay! the DC jack in the laptop is a common source of trouble, at this point it must be dismantled down to the mother board level and checked, I recommend a pro to address the situation.

My hp mini just shut off on me and i cannot get it back on

The first thing that I try with a situation like this is:

1) Remove power cable from unit.
2) Remove battery from the bottom of the unit.
3) Attempt to power the unit on without any power going to it (unplugged.. no won't turn on obviously.. but that's what we want.)
4) Plug power cable back into it and test. If it works, reinsert the battery and thats it!

Good luck!

My TOSHIBA MINI NB205-n313/9 10.1 inch net book will not turn on

The laptop is not turning on?

Remove the battery and try boot the machine on AC power only. If the computer starts up turn it back off, reinsert the battery and try to boot the computer again.
If it still won't boot with the battery inserted then i suggest you send or take the computer back as there is a hardware problem.

I have a packard bell laptop, which was working perfectly until i turned it on this morning. the green light comes on to demonstrate that the laptop has been turned on, but nothing else happens and i can't...

this could be a bad power adapter or a bad battery or the switch is malfunctioning.
The micro switch which is "normally open" will remain in "normally close" thereby remaining in the on position after power on. Check with the manufacturer.

Hp mini wont start

i had a similar problem. this made my netbook start again. turn off your netbook and then remove the battery. then (with the battery still out) slide the power switch into the on-position and hold it there for a minute. then reinsert the battery and turn on your netbook. as soon as it turns on, keep repeatedly pressing the F10 key till you see your screen light up. then login normally and go to the hp site and download the driver for your netbook. i think its under BIOS? hope this helped. sorry if it didnt...
