SOURCE: F05 Error Code on Kenmore Elite HE3T Washer Model 11044932200

First of all, make sure you unplug the washer before making any measures, and make sure you unplug any connectors from the CCU, so you aren't reading parallel paths. Isolate the components you wish to test from the CCU or you may get inaccurate readings.

The reading across the heating element terminal should read 15 ohms. Make sure you aren't grounding your probe against the case, or you will get improper readings.

The NTC will read approximately what you have at room temperature. Was the connector plugged in before you began troubleshooting? A common problem is the connector falling off and generating the error code.

As far as the connector plug on the CCU is concerned, plug layouts can differ between models. Make sure you have the correct connector plug to the NTC. You may have to hand over hand it to find it. Unplug the connector at the CCU and leave it plugged in to the NTC. Perform a resistance check across the PLUG terminals. You should get the same readings as you mentioned before if the plug and wires are good. This not checks the resistance of the NTC, but also proves continuity of the wires.

Doublecheck your readings and let me know what you have. I would like to rule out a CCU problem. It is not common for this error code. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Maytag Dyer model # MDE9700AYW wont heat it blows cold air

Ohm out the thermal fuse, if it is ok, then you can ohm out the heating element, be sure to visually check the element as well becqause it could just be shorted out internally giving you a reading, but first and foremost check your voltages be sure you are getting 240 across the outer plug spades and 120 volts from left to common and right to common, unplug this thing before you get into the element area or you could end up with a smokin fro !

I have a kenmore dryer model 8904 and it runs fine but it wont heat up

These are several things that can cause this, I will list them in order of "most common" to "least common."
1) Most common: The heat element has failed, they break in two pieces, and must be replaced.
2) One of the thermostats or a fuse has failed, and must be replaced. If this is the problem, you must also clean the whole inside of the machine's ductwork of lint, or having replaced the part, it will fail again.
3) A wire has burned in two, often near the heating element. Rarely, it can also be near the electrical cord in the back of the machine.
Be blessed.

KENMORE DRYER JUST STOPPED HEATING UP WHAT CAN I DO TO REPAIR IT?

Replace the Heating Element. The heating element is usually located behind a panel on the back. To replace you will need to remove the back cover of the dryer, then locate the heating element. The heating element is screwed into place and is easy to unscrew and replace. Be sure to have the dryer unplugged while doing this.
Here is the part for it:

Kenmore dryer 110-86094110 wont heat. Heating

Hi, Check all the thernostats and the thermal fuse for continuity. They should all show a closed circuit. If any of them are open, it will need replaced. It is usuallly the thermostat on the top side of the element housing.
I hope this helps you. If I can assist you further, please let me know.
