Question about Radio Shack TRC-447 CB Radio
That radio needs a MIN.4 A. Fuse. If the output has been torqued you will have to use a 5 A.fuse..However, the metalic smell tells me that you may have hooked the power leads backwards ?" ? They don't loke that one little bit ! ! Too bad....those were good radios axdn the President Grant is the same chassis< the latter has some minor diff's, but all parts are interchangable. Back to above...be sure the power is correct and do try new larger fuses. Good luck
