This happened all the time with my van and then with my taxicab. the culprit is a combination of a slow angled fill tube in the car, and the new safety things on the gas pumps. What the attendant had me do is angle the pump so its not completely inside the hole, but just about the whole way so theres no suction, and making sure its still secure.

I have made a connection to my wireless modem and a hub with a 15 meters long utp cable with a straight connection pattern. i got my modem connected but to my computer internet loading it takes to long to...

It could be the size of the cable, although the problem you're claiming shouldn't have been caused by that (actually, most CAT6 cables can go up to 100m), unless there's a small break in the wire somewhere internally that still allows connection, but is intermittent, the only way to figure this one out is to replace the cable with a temporary cable that will preform the same function. Then you can attempt connecting the modem and hub with a shorter cable, if that works, then it's the length. And if that doesn't work, attempt to connect straight into the modem, if this works, then it's your wireless hub. And if that STILL doesn't work, close down ALL other tasks on your computer that require internet, and just try to use your web browser. And the FINAL option is attempting to replace your modem, but this is the last ditch effort.
I hope this helps!

I only want to know the meaning of the different colours of cables that are used in crossover cables?

the standard colours for CAT5(e) or CAT6 ethernet cable are:

green, green stripe
blue, blue stripe
orange, orang stripe
brown, brown stripe

the typical setup for an ethernet connection in an RJ45 (the crystal end with the connection tab towards you) is

1 green stripe gclosen.jpg
2 green
3 orange stripe
4 blue
5 blue stripe
6 orange
7 brown stripe
8 brown

Wires 1 & 2 are used to transmit data from the PC to the router/modem (TX) and wires 3 & 6 are used to recieve information from the modem/router (RX). in this fasion, information flows along one pair or another and is expected to arrive at that pinout. the router/hub/modem takes care of the transition to the next cable or out to the internet.

In a crossover cable ONE end is configured as above, but the colours for wires 1, 2, 3, and 6 are exchanged so that when no hardware is between the two PCs/components the signal is transmited at wire 1 & 2 and recieved on pins 3 & 6 on the other system/component. the other colours are placed for backward compatibilitiy and other applications, such as power over ethernet.

following the standard above allows anybody familiar with RJ45 connections repair a connection with a standard colour code and pattern without having to see the other end. If you know you need to replace one end of a patch cable, you use the standard termination.

How can computer based information systems help any organisation to achieve a strategic advantage over its competitors?

Information is power. The best informed have the best position to make the best decisions in a timely manner. Computer based information aids in this respect.

For example, Auto Parts Place "A" has all the parts for all the cars made in the last 20 years, all in boxes ready to sell to a customer. All ya have to do is get the part number and find the isle and row and shelf of the box to get the part and see if it is in stock. Unfortunately, the books with the descriptions and locations take up the entire counter. It takes hours to find the part number, and still more time to locate and ship the part.

Auto Parts Place "B" has the same stock and a computer. The computer finds the parts based on a simple description and returns the answer (locaation, in stock, etc) in moments not hours. Parts are easily found and shipped while the customer at store "A" is still waiting to see if the part can be found.

We need 16amps 3pin 2way sockets. please help me from where we can procure (my mob: 09989588208

It depends on which country you are in.
It also depends on what you mean by a socket.

I'm in Australia and a normal power outlet can handle up to 10 amps.
If you put multiple appliances on one outlet and exceed 10 amps in total then you will likely blow a fuse.

If you are trying to connect an appliance that requires more than 10 amps on its own like an air conditioner then you will need to have a qualified electrician install a dedicated 15 amp circuit for you.

A 15amp wall socked (in Australia) has an over sized earth pin so that you can not connect a 15 amp appliance to a 10 amp circuit.

If you are trying to do something else then please post more information about your problem.

Restarting and turning on problem

Maybe you should just take the memory boards from the motherboard for a few minutes and then put it back on the same place. It helps sometimes.

Some testers do not test ALL the wires. Some will only test pair 1 and 2. You may want to use a DVM (Digital Voltmeter) set on the ohms function and check continuity on each of the eight wires from RJ-45 to RJ-45 connector or use a cable tester that will check all the wires. If you use a DVM check 1 to 1, 2 to 2 etc. for continuity. Good will read 0 ohms, open will read infinity or OL on some meters. 90% of all cable problems are poorly crimped or broken wires at the RJ-45 connector. It is difficult to be sure which end has the bad connection so you may need to change BOTH RJ-45 connectors. Do one, then check the cable, if it doesn't work, do the other one. It is a 50-50 shot. I prefer and encourage the rewiring color code using the EIA 568A standard. Starting at pin 1 the color code would be orange-white, orange, green-white, blue, blue-white, green, brown-white, brown. You don't have to do it that way, but you must make sure that the same color wire is on the same pin on each connector. If all else fails, you can go to you neighborhood computer shop for help in installing connectors. It takes a lot of practice to do it right. Hope this helps
