Try unplugging the unit for a few minutes. Then plug back in. If not try the Power button. I have an SE code (drainage problem) and my machine stops running altogether.

You are barking up the wrong tree. Here is the real fix for the LE problem.First disconnect all power ( power supply, circuit breaker, wiring etc) to the machine. Disconnect all tubing to the machine ( drainage pipe and braided hose feed) Then you need to take out the dishwasher, turn it over and then remove the large white sensor tray that will expose the leakage sensor held on by 2 screws. Remove the screws and dry up the sensor tips (4) with a dry towel and dry up the tray all around as well. Replace the tray and re connect all tubing and power. You're problem should be solved and you just saved yourself a pile of money in service repair bill.

Had the same problem with LE and 5E codes, while checking the drain hoses for obstructions 5E it turns out if you leak any water into the LE sensor pan you are stuck. So I followed diber3's post and was also able to remove the drain hose connected to the pump to check for obstructions. There I found a piece of plastic from the upper dish rack adjuster preventing water from exiting the dishwasher SE code. Then I took a hairdryer to the LE sensors to dry them out before reassembly. Back up and running in less than 1 hr nice work diber3!

Thank you, thank you, diber3!! I did what you said and it worked like a charm. That saved me at least $300, which is what the Samsung repair service told me it would cost to replace the sump, which is what they said was wrong. Thank goodness I did my own research and found your post!

Just dealt with a Samsung dishwasher LE error code and will tell you how I cleared it. LE means "kinked water supply line" but there are other things that can cause this code. In our case, there was a blockage of the pump that drives the water jets. This fooled the unit into thinking it didn't have water (because it couldn't pump water), hence the LE error code. To fix this, I removed the dish racks and unscrewed the bottom jet arm. Looks like a flying saucer with a long central wing (2 short screws). Then I unscrewed the main body of the unit beneath (8 long screws and 1 short screw). Under this I found a broken knife that was jamming up the macerate blade, and hence the pump. Reverse process to install.

My name is raza. i have west point washing machine model no 1225tl , Fix error LE is coming. please tell me about this urgent.

An LE error code on the washer's display indicates that the motor is locked, possibly due to a heavy wash load.
Large and heavy sized loads will put a strain on the motor, causing the LE code to occur. Performing a reset on the washer will normally resolve this error.
To reset the washing machine:
  1. Press POWER to turn the washer off
  2. Unplug the washer from the power outlet. If the outlet cannot be reached, turn the circuit breaker to the unit off.
  3. With the power disabled to the washer, press and hold the START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds.
  4. Plug the washer back in, or turn the circuit breaker back on.
The washer should now be reset and the LE code cleared. If washing a heavy or large load, reduce the load size and attempt to restart the cycle.
Note: For your safety and to preserve your warranty, if the issue persists, LG recommends that all repairs are performed by an Authorized Service Center.

I get an LE error message on my LG Dishwasher. I replaced the pump. Still get the LE error. Replaced the main control. Still get the LE. No blockage in the pump. What now?

When you receive the LE error code, unplug the machine for approximately 15 - 20 minutes. This will reset the microprocessor.

Oversudsing is the main cause of LE error codes. Using non-HE detergents or too much detergent will cause stress on the motor. Oversudsing can also cause leaking and odor.

A breakdown in the signal between the microprocessor and the motor may cause the error code. This can occur if there is a loose wire.

A couple of notes about this - there are at least three motors on this unit - the main pump, the drain pump, and the 'vario motor' which appears to control the direction of water flow through the sprayers. The main pump is the one likely to go bad. Another cause of the LE code is broken wires in the door. The wires in the door get stuck in the black sound insulation and eventually break. Sometimes, this causes the LE error code. Check the wires in the door first. They are located behind the large front panel. It's easily removed by undoing 6 screws.

Le error code on my LG washer.

On LG Washers the code LE is for motor overload protection.
Ensure that you are not overloading washer, make sure to clean pump by draining at little door at lower left corner(check manual for instructions), unplug for 30 minutes to reset, now try running cycle again. if it fails again something else is causing the motor to work to hard and will require a professional.
