Question about Dirt Devil Vacuums
Your vacuum's heat protection is activating. The cleaner will work untill heat build-up causes the thermal protection to cut power to the motor. Once cooled down the thermal protection will once again allow the motor to work. Open the vacuum and clean all filters. Also check for lint and hair around the motor shaft and brush shaft.
