Why does it have audio, but no video?

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/.
Some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.

I have a split a/c hitachi model number RAS-3HQE5 it stopped working the other evening, i have power to the outdoor unit when i removed the cover i found a mouse shorting across the power supply...

The shorrting could have damaged the control board and so the board commands must be checked. The output to the outdoor unit comes from the processor in the indoor unit and so checking the working of the processor is important. It is possible that the short could have damaged the circuit and so a trace is need on the tracks that was shorting.
Tip: Check the LT circuit from the mains as the high voltage could have flown into to damage the circuit.

hi welcome to fixya
i want to clarify first the problem sir so as of now the problem with your tv won't power on then you are using again the old main board is that right ? when you use the new replacement main board the tv is functioning will the only problem is that the HDMI / DVI inputs doesn't work. and now you encountered power supply problem like won't start up or something that cut the supply in which the stand by indicator is turn off so as my idea it has a problem with the old board. but before you come up with the board making sure all the connectors coming from the power supply is properly connected to the main board as will as flexible and lvds cable for the T-con board is properly inserted.just let me know if is that what you are asking for so i can give you additional solution thanks for consulting the fixya.

If you hear a flickering sound the power board is bad .However since you have found the lcd board to be faulty you might as well replace it.Look for it on line by part number.Or to save yourself some headache use a good board from a working monitor.
Good luck

LG Washer wont start, no power

Make sure there's power getting to the washer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the washer, if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.
