Hi
Error code E6 means the water is not draining due to suds or due to kinked drain hose. Check if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine then you'll need to check the drain pump and drain filter. Access the drain pump and drain filter by removing the back panel or front kick panel. Trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub, you would now see the drain pump, disconnect the hose from the pump and clean the pump and filter. Please be aware that there would be lot of water when you'll remove hose from the drain pump. Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.

Hi,
Unfortunately, this is a common problem in this machine. There are many reasons for the same. The main problem is - There are hardly any person who is aware of these machines. So, make sure you would call the right person who have experience working on these models. This is a tough job, i would rather recommend a technician.
More often this is a problem with bearing. However, i cannot comment as i am unable to diagnose the machine myself. It could be a problem with cam as well. As these are German models, i do not think, you could easily get the service manual as well.
I wish i could had a better solution.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a washing machine from Bauknecht. WA3773. It is showing 'E6' as a problem. What is this and how can I fix it myself?
Thanks
