First, check the breaker box to see if the breaker for the whirlpool has kicked out. It may be a ground fault breaker with a small reyd button to reset it. If you know that the circuit is getting power, then you need to find the motor which runs the pump. Sometimes these are built into the wall and can only be accessed by tearing out sheetrock walls. Once you get to the motor, look for the wire that is running into the motor. There will be a small red button sticking out near the point where the wire enters the motor. Push this button in. If you have power and it has tripped out, this will restart the motor. If you have let this run without water in the tub, it may be all over for this motor. If the pump itself overheated from lack of water, it may have seized up thus burning the motor out as well.

so what up, ELABORATE please.
WJ JEEP is a USA jeep, in Europe its a WG, jeep, and runs different engines and trans,
yet another post with no country, like most here, and FAILED.
what does holds in low gear mean.?
try to know that engine power and a/t shift points are complex.
means, tell what works and not, pretend the helper is blind
and has no hands nor legs. bingo.?

now my wild guess, based off 2 words.
hold and lowgear.
i guess you are saying the engine runs perfectly with full power.
but the transmission will not auto up shift from 1st gear to 2nd,
is this correct?
if yes,
  1. check transmission fluid levels. do not overfill it, or guess.
  2. check fuses, we test them.
  3. if the trans , fails, now, the Diesel has a special version of the transmission, not petrol box. and most have an external TCM controller, unlike ours, totally. but it must be SCANNED.
  4. or you will never know why failing !
  5. The scans will show errors, telling you why the TCM tranny brain, can not shift, (sensors errors? comm errors/ many...)
  6. there you go, there is more, but illl stop here, the service manual tells you in clear English , all on car checks for tranny. if read.

my WG book, shows even Diesel shift'er module, is unique
and can not communicate, and fail.
and the TCM is controlling all this.

Learn to scan all modern cars first (means 96'+)
and save time, and money.
guessing will not work. sorry.

if you had scanned it and posted errors we could wax 10x more savvy, for sure.
  1. buy a scanner use it. (save big money for life of car)
  2. Get it scanned. (all shops can)
  3. call mobile car service, and they scan it?
  4. tow car to any shop they scan it.
our cars show P07xx codes. for trans or P17xx.
in Europe they have EOBD, (simular to our OBD2, we invented)
so that is your tool, that works. (wild guessing country I am)

here is one example
P1242-CAN BUS MESSAGE MISSING FROM TCM

P07xx
P17xx
P27xx , are all trans errors, lots

this means the PCm can not talk to the TCM box.
if it cant, the the PCm can not send engine load data to it.
or worse.
service manual, WG , chapter 21, covers all this.

My vacuum is an Electrolux model el 20 the power head stopped working and has a flashing red light on it now

But wild guess is the filter bag or possibly the secondary filter is
full. Sometimes. the effect of the full bag will pop open the latch for the filter bag and as a result, will automatically stop. Otherwise, it may be that the motor has overheated as a result of the full filters and stopped due to the overheating.

Dash and tail lights only went out


Were any of the fuse ever blown?

If so, do you know the circuits they were on?

You replaced perfectly good bulb/lamps?

You have a fuse blow one time only,you stop

You look up the fuses circuit & what is on it that
may be a problem & do some testing

You have wasted not only time, but I assume, lots of money
on parts, for no real reason, when you consider you never
tried to find a problem

This dislike for repair shops & fear of the cost, may be your
only problem

Nothing works, because you did nothing & now expect
us to guess

Please I do not know where to start. P0935/p1745 comes up .


wow ,no year stated, kinda makes this very hard....
not even what car it is, wow amazing...

i see 5 engines, in 2008, so what engine. in GC.
start by buying a real FSM on your car, and read the long tests
for finding code fails,, with more tests.
this is what your mech does. (no guessing, we do the tests)
where to starst
1: guessing,
2: testing.

there are 2 paths. only you know which one is best for your.
if rich?, guessing works great. (1/2 the time)

if short cash, try alldata.com for $15 its all there.
the FSM is the best , bar none.
on my cars I have the FSM on DVD. all cars.
and some on paper or both, that way i can be ready.

answer. best i can tell with zero input
is the tranny is bad.
or was overheated, driving.
reset it and pray.

are you saying it overheated after a new head gasket? i sure can not tell. my guess, not, my guess is this.
car overheated (first)
compression flat on x cylinders.
so i check head for warp, not warped (.002' max) so tried a new head gasket.
hook up computer , (scan tool, you mean the OBD2 scan tool?)
sure , the immobilizer.
the car engine brain, is called PCM, not connected kills all spark and fueling. in fact all that is PCM , created, all the time.
so what computer? some cars have 12 on board,

You could have any one of ten reasons it overheats
You ask a question after some testing or failed repair
shop work to correct & provide details
