Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera
I would like to get the LCD screen working in all other modes. I have treid removing and replacing the batteries. I have held set and then turned on the power and I have tried resetting settings to default as listed on page 73 on themanual. when in stitch mode. The reset settings to default comes on and the busy sign comes on but nothing resets. Any suggestions?
I think this is most likely: A/V plug has become faulty: http://www.fixya.com/support/t980272-a85_lcd_stays_off_in_all_modes_except

Can you see the menus?? Can you see pics in "reveiw" mode? If yes, and this is only a "taking picture" issue, then the LCD is good. You probably have a bad CCD. Canon USA will repair this for free. Go
here for details. They will send you 2 emails. One with the UPS label
and another with info sheets to be sent with the defective camera
