Question about Logitech Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

I have these logitech headphones I bought a couple years ago. I do not see a model number on them. When I use them for phone with Skype they are never loud enough for me to hear well. I have set the computer's, and Skype's, volume to max, but the problem persists. I currently do not use any logitech software with these headphones. Should I download a Logitech driver? How do I tell the model? Thanks, Peter

Hi,
There are no drivers for headphones. And as you use this headset for couple of years the speaker performance gradually reduces. So you wont hear it properly. This normal thing. Please try changing the headset.
Thank You

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Doesn't work with Skype

Fixed it: the microphone on the headphone was switched off - it's a bit of a design weakness in the Logitech headset: it's easy to unintentionally turn the microphone off while putting the headset on. The lower half of the right headphone's central medallion is a button - indicated by a crossed out microphone icon.

I have version 4.0.0.206 of Skype. Don't know whether this works on versions below that. If in doubt update your version of Skype, the current version is 4.1, click here to download it if needed.

Within Skype, click Tools, Options

Click on Audio Setting, in the General Tab. Now under the microphone section, click on the down arrow and select your other device and then click 'Save'.

If the other device is not present it may need to be re-installed, Nik.

If this helps click YES below.

Vtec 7100 won't connect to skype

1. Unplug and re-plug the usb cable from the base station to your Skype computer.

2. Make sure Skype is running.

3. Re-install the vtech software (you can download it at http://www.vtechphones.com if you need to)

4. When Skype asks if it's ok to let it connect, do that.

Doesn´t work on mac

The logitech Download Centre doesn't provide any Mac Drivers for your device.

The best thing to do is either wait for the drivers to come out or buy another product supported by Mac

cheers

the problem may be in logitech earphone......after using some days....it may have got repaired....if it is repaired then the connection problem will come....otherwise if you are using antivirus....check the firewall.....if the firewall is not allowing skype to connect to internet....these problems will arise....i am a software engineer and i have experience in these areas....thats why i am suggesting this idea....try this...it will work.....
