SOURCE: Won't turn off, and won't respond to remote or side panel.

I think that better to check the cables of S/W module.
Please check the s/w board placed in or chipped by bracket.

If nothing wrong with external appearance, then need to replace the IR module or Main Board.

SOURCE: Samsung LCD Flat Screen TV LN-S2651D - Volume Problem

I lived with it for about six weeks, then took the back off the TV. Just now it seems to be fixed, but I don't know if it will last.

I disconnected the wire leading to the channel up/down, volume up/down and source board, turned on the tv, turned it back off, reconnected the cable, and everything seems fine now.

SOURCE: sound volume fluctuates

You may need to replace the Tact (push) Switches. These are the small buttons that are pressed when a control button is manually pushed on the TV set. The thing with this is you will need to replace all of the Tact Switches. Simply replacing the switch that corresponds to the issue might not solve the problem. The other issue is finding replacement parts. I recommend partstore.com. From there they can recommend a part if the one you need is no longer available. If you have a remote controller for the tv, you don't have to replace these parts, just remove them from the circuit board. Just make sure you don't remove the remote sensor :)

Poor quality sound - low volume on Netflix. Everything fine on regular TV programmes.

You have to go to the sound mixer on your PC and increase the volume on Internet Explorer, Microsoft Silverlight also.
To find the mixer try clicking on the speaker on the taskbar.

I have a Harmon Kardon HK 3370 Stereo Receiver and a Samsung LCD LE40C530F1W. When I connect the stereo Aux jack to the LCD Audio jacks ( red and white rf cables ) I get no sound out via the receiver.

Obviously make sure your stereo mode selector is set to AUX and the volume on the stereo is turned up at least a little when you test it.

If you still have no luck then try increasing the volume on the TV as well. You may have it set so that the level of the audio signal leaving the rear output connectors on the TV varies with the TV volume. That way if your TV volume was turned down or muted when you tested it, then you would not hear anything coming through your stereo.

There should be a setting in the AUDIO OPTIONS menu of your TV where you can switch between a VARIABLE AUDIO OUTPUT and a FIXED AUDIO OUTPUT level.

With the FIXED audio output level, you control the volume of the TV audio coming through the stereo speakers with the stereo remote only.

Otherwise it should work.

Good luck.

A new LCD TV has expansion sound capabilities requiring adjustment to acheive viewer experience. First, the TVs default sound is what is heard soon as the powered on. Volume/sound will not increase up on my Samsung HL61A650

If the volume indicator appears and respond as you increase the volume but the sound does not respond, there might be a problem on the audio section.Ask for a repairman to check it. If the indicator does not respond, try using manual control instead of using remote control. Also some units have features to turn speaker off or on. Go to menu scan for audio check if it is turned off or on.

Hi, I have a samsung le32r74bdx lcd tv and the volume has just gone to 100 and i can't turn it down?

First, start by unplugging set to try to reset. Then make sure that all settings in audio menu are correct. Also look for stuck volume up button on set and on remote. Sometimes buttons get lodged under surrounding frame. Also try to push volume down button on tv and watch for display on tv to see any change. If when you release button volume increases by itself, remove batteries from remote to eliminate it as cause. If nothing you try works expect to replace main pcb. You can probably price it online with model number. Good luck, Russmann.
