Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Please try the following solution :
Step 1. Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)
Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep as soon as you press it and then about 5 seconds later it will beep again. Let go of the power button when you hear this second beep.
Step 3. Wait for your PS3 to start.
This solution basically resets the video output back to standard definition. If this does not owrk then it is probably down to a faulty Graphics Processing Unit on the motherboard which is unfortunately terminal.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa
