the model no. is sony wega trinitron KV HW21M83..yes my bro did use the service code u mentioned and changed some numbers..dont know which he changed..since then the audio has gone completely and the menu does not display any sound options...like mode,sound adjustment,etc....

Select audio number ( in service menu) and move up the numbers.....Write original numbers before you move anything ( don't lost configuration original). Relly need my self personality to do this, but if you take care, you can do this!!!
