Question about Pentair Minimax NT Heater

I have a pentair minimax that the display will not light up or come on. I only have 15 VAC coming from orange 24 VAC line from the transformer. If I tested it correctly, it only has 75 VAC coming into the transformer. Need help

How much voltage needs to be coming out of the transformer to light the display? I could not find any loose or chaffed wires in the power box.

The service manual states that the the lights on the display light in order. The power light does not come on, which leads me to believe that I have a power concern. What should the VAC read coming into the transformer?

If you only have 75VAC coming into the transformer I would be looking at the power supply and the fuse / circuit breaker.
If you are direct wired and your unit is 220VAC cycle BOTH breakers OFF and then back on. Measure voltage at the CB connection checking for 220 - 230VAC on the CB line out terminals. Having one breaker tripped can cause the 75 VAC to the transformer.

The transformer has 4 inputs red to black = 120 VAC
Black/Wht - Red/Wht = 120 VAC

You should read the Orange and White wires on P4 = 24VAC

Since you did not include the model number I do not know if yours is the dual voltage or single voltage unit.

Everything I passed to you is the single voltage version. See this manual link below. There is a retrofit kit for some reason applicable to this heater. See the parts list in section G. / page 10 of the file.

I do not know why there is a retrofit kit available. You may want to find out if this a warranty or recall issue.

Purex Triton MiniMax Plus 400 power light is not turning on nor is unit. Checked for power going to unit and no fuses appear to be blown. Thoughts on what might be the issue? Thanks, Dan

if you have incoming power, you may have a bad transformer. those systems run on 24-28v. you can check from yellow wire to yellow wire coming off the transformer to see if you have anything coming out. must check wires coming out of the transformer to each other, it won't register if you check each one individually to ground. hope this helps...

No power, display lights nothing seems to light up, not sure, there is power in the unit though?

Check power into and out of the transformer. You should have either 115 or 230 VAC in and 24 VAC out. If no power out but power in, replace the transformer. If no power in look for tripped GFI, breaker, etc.
