Why my internet explorer stop working - Microsoft Internet Explorer 8

Did you check other browsers?
it is possible the problem is your internet line- talk to your ISP.

even if you are still getting mails to your Outlook or Outlook Express, you might still have a problem with surfing the net.

Hi,

Internet explorer might be corrupted and needs tobe rest to default.

click on start > go to control panel > double click on internet options > click on advanced button > then click on reset

after the reset restart the computer and then try to open IE again,

If still that doesnt work try downloading Firefox using the my document explorer

type on the encirled box this address to download firefox:

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/3.6.8/win32/en-US/

then click on firefox to install it. Now you can browse the internet again.

Clear all temporary files. Right click on C: Drive then select Properties Option,click on Disk Cleanup Tab, Select all options and say ok. Try restarting the OS and check it. (Note : it is assumed that Internet connection and settings are working fine.)
If still it is not functioning, Using Add/remove programs choose Add/remove windows components, deselect and uninstall IE, and again select IE and install it. Restart and check it. Still if it does not then use Fire fox for browsing.
