1. Just see whether speaker button is muted.
2. See whether the driver is disabled.
3. Uninstall and reinstall the driver and check it.
4. Try to use any other player.
5. Finally try fixing the OS.
One of these should solve the problem. Else surely there is some problem with hardware chipset.
