SOURCE: old john deere gator and battery new charger still will not move

Could be several things.  Your battery could be bad. After not being charged for a while, they do go bad- often. You may want to try a new battery along with your new charger.  You could also have a switch /connection problem. If you get a new battery and it still doesnt work, you may want to check the switches and wiring. It is not uncommon for the switch to go bad especially if it had been stored outside.

SOURCE: john deer push pull tractor won,t work.

If you have a clicking problem, I would check the wiring on the foot pedal. something is not connected right, which is making the fuse click.
You can contact J&L at this link or call there toll free number.
They have switches and other parts for these peg perego gators, but I would talk to them to make sure.

SOURCE: Where can I find rubber tires

I was wondering the same thing, can't find any rubber replacements and came up with a solution- use a rubberized undercoating for automobiles. It sprays on thick and provides more grip than the plastic wheels do.

There is more info on modifications here:

Hubby went to charge the gator and the plug part that goes into the wall outlet became very hot to the touch. What could it be? Could it be the charger or the battery?

If the battery is completey drained or very low the charger will get hot to the touch, The charger put out 14.6 volts and then trickle down to 13.8 volts once charged, i would check the charger with a multimeter and check and see what kind of volts its putting out. if the battery is bad the charger wont think that it has completely charged it and will continue to push 14.6 volts into it

I have a john deere tractor that is 6v. The charger says the battery is ready but the tractor is not working.

does the charger indicator light ever turn amber in color? I might be that the batteries cables are loose under the plastic housing, check the battery with a multimeter and make sure that its showing at least 6 volts

John deere turf tractor has no power, recharged battery for 24 hours but still zero power. Checked all connections, everything is connected. Tractor is approximately 6 months old

check the battery with a multimeter and see if its showing 12 volts or more, if its not showing any volts the connectors on the battery under the plastic housing have probably come disconnected, you'll then have to pry off one side of the battery and reconnect them, if it is showing volts but not 12 or more then put it on the charger for about 8 hours, then check the battery again if it still hasn't went up check the voltage of the charger with the multimeter and make sure that the charger is putting out 13.8 volts or more, iif it isn't then you need a new charger, if it is then you need a new battery
