Question about One For All URC-4330 Remote Control
Many times this is caused by debris on the carbon pads associated with the specific buttons, in your case the volume buttons, although if this is the cause I suspect other buttons to be in similar condition. The volume is likely used more than the other buttons thus failing first. The control must be disassembled and the specific pads cleaned with a Q tip and isopropyl alcohol and the mating surfaces on the circuit board. If this still does not solve the problem the carbon pads can be resurfaced with a chemical sold at electronic suppliers such as MCM electronics (can be found online using Google).
