Question about Acer Aspire 5315 15.4-inch Notebook PC
Windows crashes on startup because a device that should be there can't be accessed. Go into the BIOS and check the boot order: first should be the cd, second the hard disk and all the others disabled. After that just do a full reinstall. If the reinstall fails or the problem returns very quickly then you have a hardware fault - replace the hard disk.
