Question about Washing Machines
There is a magnet in/under the lid on the left hand side inside a plastic housing. I also got a second hand machine in which the magnet had totally broken down due to corrosion. You can test if this is the problem by placing a magnet where this magnet would be positioned when lid closed. Replace magnet
