You could try and re install the touchpad drivers, that should bring the option back.
You could also try uninstalling the touchpad from device manager, windows will pick the device up automatically and try and reinstall it.
Right click on computer / manage / device manager

Click "Accessibility Options."
Click "OK" to unlock the keyboard, including the keypad.
Click "Start," then "Control Panel."
Click "hardware and Sound," then "Mouse."
Click the "Touchpad" tab. Click "Default" under the "Touchpad" tab to reset the touchpad to its original settings.
Clear the boxes next to "Use Sticky Keys," "Use FilterKeys" and "Use ToggleKeys."
Unlock Touchpad
