It states: " Ink cartridge problem
Cause The indicated ink cartridge(s) are missing or are damaged.
Solution Replace the indicated ink cartridge(s) immediately so that you can resume printing.
If there are no ink cartridges missing from the HP All-in-One, the ink cartridge contacts might
need to be cleaned.
If there are no ink cartridges missing from the HP All-in-One, and you still receive this message
after cleaning the ink cartridge contacts, you might have a damaged ink cartridge. Contact HP

Printer keeps telling me there is no blue ink. I can tell the cartridge is practically full and was replaced less than one month ago. The ink bleeds smoothly when dabbed with a paper towel, but by printer...


have you tried to return the old ink cartridge? sometimes the ink cartridge sensors get damage or dirty, you may try to clean the ink cartridge sensor on the ink head well with a cotton swab dab in alcohol.

My printer is running through ink really fast with not a lot of use 3 cartridges in one month. Each time I replace it with a new one it still reads low on ink. Any ideas what might be wrong?


This printer does not actually read the ink levels. It reads the documents getting sent to the printer and estimates the amount of ink used. You can buy a little scanner that resets the code on your cartridge to read as if it is brand new. This will allow you to use ALL of the ink in the cartridge before having to go buy more. This is a ploy to buy more ridiculously expensive ink than you actually need. Keep resetting it until your prints come out missing ink. Then you know you actually need a new ink cartridge. You can get this scanner on eBay or at your local electronics store.

try this and see if it works, shut down the printer and the computer then restart the computer first. you may try to uninstall the printer software, then reinstall it that way you are starting fresh, the software may have missed something on the install process. then when every thing is loaded, then turn on the printer. biigg53566
