I keep having to reset my router on a daily basis almost to get internet access. I am wondering if the router is packing up or if the bellsouth modem and or line is the problem. The connections are very slow at times as well. I have never had this problem before as I have been using this setup for more than 3 years now. Is there a way to test the integrity of the router and modem?

I have pinged the web site as requested and here are the results:
Lost 0%, Min=98ms, Max = 212ms, Ave = 120ms and the TTL =51. I hope this helps.

Hi - Rvdb - somethings you can check.
Go to your command prompt. Start>run> type "cmd" in the box without the quotes and click ok. When you get to the command prompt, type "ping yahoo.com -t" There's a space between the ping and yahoo and also the .com and the -t This will ping yahoo with packets of info. Let it run for 3 minutes. Then ctrl + c together. Add a comment here with the results. Tell me % package loss, round trip minimum, round trip maximum, round trip avg. You can just say for example : 1%, 45min, 78max,49avg, and give me the TTL avg. Thanks.
I'll get right back once I hear.

Choose the correct model (You can ID the model by looking at the bottom) and update. I think the latest firmware is 2.80 (I have the same model router) and let it reboot.
