Question about Samsung HCM5525W 55" Rear Projection Television
The sound is most likely the shorting of current though the blown lamp/bulb, as per the previous solution, if you haven't replaced the bulb in 12-24 months, they will blow, just as a normal light bulb, causing the loss of picture.
Please make sure to replace the lamp use hours after replacing the lamp otherwise the unit will not recognize that you have replaced the lamp and you may still experience similar problems in relation to no picture.
The method for resetting the lamp use hours can be obtained either from the authorised repair agent or from the technical support line supplied by the manufacturer.

The tv projection lamp has not been change in this tv the last 1/1/2 or 2 years and been on an watches 4 or 5 hours a day?Yes,than the projection lamp life is over.Require a new projection lamp.
