Hi i have the sames problem with my projector. in the end i found the problem. if tweaking with the display settings doesn't work then try the blue polarizer. it is this polarizer that made my screen go yellow it was broke. the polarizer is blue, inside the projecter there are 3 polarizers, blue, yellow and red. (ps not the little plastic filters)

you can get a blue polarizer from nec 0208 4210 101 they are £10. iv just ordered mine.

P.s. be sure to check the settings before buying and installing the polarizer, as this may be the cause.

Also i have attached a pic of my polarizer to give a an example of what it looks like.

    Hope this helps

Did you get your replacement blue polarizer? If so, was it a success, and whet were the dimensions? I need to source a new filter for my PJ-TX200, but Hitachi don't list a part so if I can modify something I would be interested in trying.

Once you replace the lamp you need to go into settings and reset the bulb hours back to zero. That will take care of your problem

My screen is yellow with grainy lines. I replaced the bulb (after only 776 hours), but the problem persists even with the new bulb. Is there another part inside that may need replacing instead?

The organic polarizers can get burnt by the bright light after a long time. The blue one is most susceptible and results in a yellowing of the projected image.
You can see if it's damaged when the optics unit is dismantled.

When i put a new bulb in my projector panasonic ptae1000 its shows green how do i fix this

A new bulb may just be showing up a problem that wasn't apparent with the lower brightness coming from an old bulb.
Try putting the old bulb back in and look very carefully and see if the problem is still there.
If the green is uniform over the whole screen then it may be fixed by setting a colour level change in the menu.
If it varies over the screen then it is probably a polarizer affected by age and heating.

Sharp notevision xgnv6xu oval yellow spot

I have a similar issue with yellow pattern on the left and top right of my screen. Took it apart and found the blue lcd had damage that matched the yellow area that was projected. I thought it was the lens but it was the blue lcd .It has gone bad and no replacement. Are you interested in selling the bulb or the whole projector? I have since purchased another projector and am keeping the bad one for spare parts. Hope this helps..Ben

This is probably the polarizing filter. It will need to be replaced. It should not cost very much to fix.

the light polarizer on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. unfortunately, you'll need to replace the whole optical engine.

Bright yellow

I can't imagine a setting that would cause this - It sound more like some sort of fault with the projector's blue LCD panel. (The image is created from a mix of red, green and blue light. If you loose the blue, everything will look yellow.)

Is it capable of showing any shades of blue?

Using any graphics or photo-editing software, create a solid blue image (R=0, G=0, B=255 in your colour settings) and if possible, display this full-screen. Is there any output from the projector at all when you do?

If not, it sounds like it need a professional repair.
