I removed the dump tray when the machine was on. I couldn't get the dump tray back in so I removed the brew unit. I'm still having a problem getting both the brew unit and the dump tray back in the machine. what should I do?

You have probably removed the tray during the time the brew unit was transporting the coffee. by removing the tray you stopped the transporting unit in the middle of this process.
You can solve this by putting back the brew unit. Close the machine Do not put back the dump tray. Look into the machine, at the spot where the dumptray should go. There is a litte slot in the back. but put a little spoon or some smal screwdriver into this slot. You can hear the machine finish the transporting cycle. After that you can put back the dumptray and it should work again.

My spidem trevi automatica is leaking water (with some grounds) from the bottom. Last repair bill, 10 months ago for the same thing, was $235 + shipping. Is this a common problem?

Hi
Grounds and water under the machine or drip tray indicate that the drain behind the brew unit is plugged.
Remove the brew unit. You will see the injector in the back of the machine. Below the injector is a pocket that the excess pressure is relieved into when the machine is done making a coffee. This pocket will plug up with ground and oils. The drain is just above the center of the drip tray. Insert something into the drain and see if you can unplug it. Once it has drained run some hot soapy water through the pocket.

Brew Unit will not go back into place

Hi

You must make sure that the brew unit is ready to reinsert into the machine. To return the brew group to the centered position, you first need to drop the funnel. To do this, look on the opposite side of the brew group from the handle. At the top you will see an object that looks like a sharks fin. If you follow this piece down you will see 2 horizontal bars on the brew group body. Push your finger between these 2 bars and the funnel will drop. Now you can push the puck slide on the left side down and to the center. If you look down through the funnel you should see a piston. This should be centered in the funnel. If not, locate the slide on the left side of the brew unit, (it should be hanging down, a flat rectangular piece attached to the cylinder) and push the slide to the right until it does. Push the press button and you are now ready to reinsert the brew group in to the machine. First you must close the door with the drip tray and dredge drawer inserted and turn on the machine without having the brew group in. You will hear the motor turn on and when it stops completely, open the door and remove the tray, and dredge drawer, now replace the tray and insert the brew group. If it still won’t go in check the cog in the back of the machine. There are 2 wide teeth that should be at the 10:00 and 12:00 position. If they are at a different position you have a broken drive gear.

Red flashing below picture of bean

Probably the Dump box, brew group, or drip tray not properly positioned or service door not closed.
So you can check one by one if they are in right position.
Good luck.

Spidem Trevi Water Problem/ my machine is leaking water and sort of coffee grounds. I have decalcified it several times, but it continues to leak. It is an office machine is 3 years old and I don no

Easiest way is to open the machine and find the blockage then clear it out and then get on a regular descale cycle. Check the brew unit also to make sure that it is not blocked. You model only has one boiler so if you're getting hot water from the steam wand it is possible that the problem is in the brew unit.

Water and grounds leakage

Hi,

Take out the brewing unit and check the hole in the chassi (where the brewing unit was), make sure that hole is clean.

If the hole is clean and the remain leaking then your boiler is gone and have to be replaced:-(
