Question about Jensen CD3720 CD Player
There are many internal fuse that controls the flow of current it is being blown so you have to replace the one accordingly.You should do continuity test to find out the which fuse is blown using ohm-multimeter.Check for any burn sign or for the fuse which is getting to heated.That is the defective one you have to replace the one.It will be of this shape.
In some fuse the internal lining will be broken so you can easily find it out.
The reason why the internal fuse blows out is due to the following reasons.
Make sure power wire is not pinched.
Make sure speaker wires are not pinched.
Install fuse of correct rating and size.
Sometimes The battery and ignition wires are not connected properly. The yellow wire is for the battery and the red wire is for the ignition/ACC.
The volume reaches upto some level and it is not able to supply the required volts because of the defective fuse.
