SOURCE: Need wiring diagram for eMachine 20030812 motherboard!!!

You should be able to see the words/letters that go with the jumpers on the motherboard itself. look around the jumper settings area for power, pwr etc. and match them up with your jumpers which should have what the go to on them.

If you are replacing the power supply and it has 4 pin 12v conector and your motherboard doesn't, just disregard the 4 pin plug. The 20 pin conector will supply sufficient power for the processor. Many of the older motherboards did not have a separate 12v supply for the processor.

SOURCE: I am installing a new

Basically each connector is made so that it can only go where it should go unless you do some modification or really force the connector in.

All in all you should have one 24pin brick of wires. This is made up of 20pin block plus 4pin block.
If your computer mainboad requires 24pins of power then take the 20pin block and add the 4pin block to it. If not then just use the 20pin block.

Then there is the 4pin CPU power brick. Can only go in one way.
This 4 pin block is not to be confused with the other 4pin block found on the 24pin brick.

Lastly there are 4pin Molex, SATA and stiffy connectors, they can also only go in one way.

If it all fits in then you should be alright.

CPU: 4pin
Mainboard: 20+4pin
Hard drives: Molex or SATA power

I need the wiring diagram for replacing the power supply for a HP Pavilion 515n

You don't need a wiring diagram. Just pay close attention to where things are plugged in while the old power supply is still in the computer once you remove the case. There are only a few connections and some of them will only fit in the correct slot on the motherboard. For example, the main power to the motherboard will be the largest connector, then you will have a connector to the hard drive, the dvd/cd drive, etc. What you could do it take a piece of masking tape and and fine tip marking pen such as a Sharpie and write where that wire is being plugged into the motherboard. Then when you remove it and put the new power supply in, just refer to where the plugins go based on what you marked on the old plugins. There will also be some plugins that go nowhere. They are there for future expansions and upgrades that you might do.

I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY FOR AN EMACHINES T1120 COMPUTER. CANNOT FIND A SCHEMATICS DIAGRAM ANYWHERE.

After reading an article about Emachines awhile back, I found out the reason you can't find the schematic- it isn't available, as some motherboards are made specifically for Emachines and therefore not distributed, as they might normally be, but again, others are, but you have to identify them and go through another source to get them- Emachines, appartantly, will not supply them. All is not lost, however...all motherboards have, basically, the same hookups and connectors for the power supplies, hard drives, etc.- they are standard. I found a web blog that explains the power switch, reset, and power led, which will help. Here it is: http://www.computing.net/answers/hardware/emachine-power-sitch-wiring/56545.html
This site will explain about the 24 pin connector from the power supply
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/53750-7-installation-manual-rs480m-w3400-emachine-motherboard
If you google "motherboard wiring" you will find sites that have illustrations of the motherboard, and explain which connectors go to which sockets, and how to identify them.
With a little patience and determination, you should be able to hook everything up from the various blogs on the net. Hope this helps.

I don't have the manual for 277498-011

As for the Power Supply 99% sure it is an ATX which as long as you get the same Watt as the existing you will be okay. Make sure you look at your existing connectors to see if you have a 24 pin or 20pin motherboard and 4 pin or 8 pin additional power plug (black and yellow wires) and the new power supply has matching connectors....older ATX supplies have only 20 pins, but there are converters from 20 to 24 pin available.

Watch for the new power supplies and your drive connectors as some of the new power supplies have limited ATA plugs...if you have a lot of ATA devices you might need SATA power convertor plugs or ATA splitters to get all you ATA devices up.

Hp pavilion 764c wire diagrams

Take a picture of the inside of your computer and put it up on the website with the wire connectors that need to be connected. The connecting wires should be in four groups. 1. The power supply connectors. These connectors will supply power to to all the power using components not supplied power by the motherboard itself. 2 The connections to the other components in your system like the dvd/cd player and the harddrive and floppy drive.3. The motherboard connections for the case. The power switch connector andreset switchconnector. The power led and theharddrive activity light. The USB connector and the audio connector. The fan connections like the cpu fan and other fan only connectors found on the motherboard. The external fans ( Fans that need to be connected to the power supply). Most of these connections are labeled on the motherboard. The case connectors also should be labeled for the correct connection. The best way to find the answers to this hook-up, may be to call HP pavilion with your computer make and model number, motherboard model number including revisions number. Computer made by big manufacturers tend to have may revisions and the only way to make sure your are getting a correct hook-up to the motherboard is call them for assistance.Especially if the motherboard and case labels are not present or so small that they cannot be read.Hope this helps you with your problem.

Hopefully eMachines are consistent with their wiring/layout design, that being the case this diagram for T2898 (by benz18724) should point you in the right direction...

Alternatively compare the abbreviated pin symbols on the header to the motherboard and match them up.

Minium load & EPS standard

You just need to make sure the power supply matches your motherboard is by Wattage, so that is all you have to be concerned about when buying a power supply..400Watts, 500Watts...The +12V, +5V, +3.3V is the power that your motherboard needs for itself and the hardware hooked up to it. Like the CD ROM has a plug to the power supply and it may use 12V. The motherboard also has a power connector and it may use +5V, etc. All you need to do is get the right wattage match for the motherboard, then use the correct wires to plug in the motherboard, CD-ROM, HardDrive, etc. The adapters are keyed so you should not have any problem figuring out which goes where, however, I would recommend writing it down if you can.
If you have any questions let me know.

Gateway Intel 850 Socket 478 ATX Motherboard Power Supply

Please use the following as a reference: ATX12V Power Supply Design Guide, http://www.formfactors.org/developer/specs/ATX12V_PSDG_2_2_public_br2.pdf

Sections 4.5.2 and 4.5.3 (Page 38) list the signal and wire colors for the +12V2DC (2x2 pin) and Peripheral (Molex) Connectors. Figure 11 (page 36) shows diagrams of the connectors and pin-outs for reference.

Most likely, you are looking for the 2x2 pin connector; pins 1&2 are common (black wire), pins 3&4 are +12V2DC (yellow wire w/black stripe)
