My sony cybershot w55 will not zoom in or out and the lense makes a clicking noise when i turn it on or off

Lens will not open to take photos screen says to turn camera off and on.


Hi,

You have an defective lens assy is it fallen on the floor o ris it shove
Otherwise there some contamination in the gearbox of the zoom assy It can only retosred by an repairshop. They clean the lens assy or change it.

Lens won't come out


Hi,
   Actueally the zoom motor start malfunctioning.In this case you have to replace complete lense assymble.And for this you have to contact any SONY SERVICE CENTRE nearby to you where you can find the said lens assy.

turn on the camera and take a coton but just add some cleaner on it and rub very firmly so that it could not harm the lens it will be cleaned unanimously

turn on and take hold of end of lense
then gently pull and twistyou may hear it click but dont force it. then turn off and on again this should solve the problem.
