IF YOU ARE USING THE ACTUAL CAR KIT FOR INNO YOUR FM MODULATOR WILL ACTIVATE UNDER YOUR SETTING / PREFERENCES. THE FM BUDDY DOES WORK IF YOU CAN FIND ONE. HOME KIT WITH CASSETTE WORKS TO.

I have learned due to fc regulations the fm modulator only works with the car kit. Looking into a device called a fm buddy that tricks the radio into thinking it's in the car kit so one does not have to pay the extra money for the whole car kit. I use a converter in my vehicle so I can use the home kit in my vehicle.

Pioneer cd player quit workin and i have static in radio could my fm modulator be bad and can that keep my cd player from working

Your modulator shouldn't effect the cd player. But it can cause static in your fm if you leave it on. Make sure the modulator is turned off before trying to use the regular fm. Also, if its a wired modulator, then check the antenna connections. If it's wireless than it should not effect anything. Depending on the radio, get a aux input on it. Wireless fm transmitters are the worst.

I am having KEH-P8900R/X1B/EW PIONEER, by default it is playing the radio station FM- AF, I am trying to change it AM, but I did not get sucess. Can you please advice, how to change it. Thanks &...

There should be a "band" button on the stereo. you may have to press it several times before you get to AM mode, depending on how many FM stations it will store in it's memory.

I have a pioneer cassette player, how can I input a auxiliary audio into pioneer keh p5450,(like ipod, usb drive....)

ipods come with a transmitter that plugs into the ipod. it has an fm radio instruction manual tells you what frequency to tune to and how to select the station on the transmitter. this way you dont wire anything into your cd player, providing it has fm radio.

How and where to connect an AUX source (e.g. MP3 player)?

Cassete players do not have Aux Inputs.
You will need to use an FM Modulator type Aux device that will broadcast to a radio station preset on your radio.

How to hook up an ipod to my '07 Tacoma radio

There won't be a direct plug that will work, but you do have 2 options.

1. An aftermarket iPod interface module. Try PAC, Peripheral, or USA Spec. They may have one for your vehicle that will give you a direct audio in, as well as charging and possibly iPod control from the head unit.

2. A hardwired FM modulator. This would plug in through the car's antenna at the back of the radio, and you will probably find that it gives much better sound quality than the wireless FM modulators you've been using.

FM channels

since the 70's when they started, FM radios in cars have only showed like 101.9 and 102.1 in odd number tenths-of-Megahertz only, with a few rare exceptions. There are some high cost receivers that will show odds and evens. Your 102 station is really either one of like 101.9 or 102.1 for your Pioneer.
