Question about Dryers
It may be the reset switch to reset the switch unplug the dryer, remove the power cable and back cover completely, two screws holding back cover are under the top cover which is held on with two screws at the rear. Remove the screws then pull top cover back and then lift it off. Remove last two screws and take off the full back cover . On the front of the motor you should see two white wires going into the safety switch push the button on the left to reset the switch.

The first thing to check on a electric dryer is the power.
I know It look like you have power but you have a 220V dryer and it need both sides of power to work.
If you can't ckeck for proper power at the outlet then please at least ckeck your breaker box and maker sure you turn both switches off and then back on to make sure that one site of the breaker did not trip. Then check your dryer to see if this did not solve your problem. ((((( I flip a breaker at least once a month for a customer and recive $60.00 for doing so :) ))))))
Ok if this did not solve your problem.
When you push the button for start do you here a hum noise ??? if so Most common problem would be the motor.
No hum.... Open dryer door and turn drum by hand and close door and retry dryer.
Now it get real fun !!! The start switch needs to be checked, Then the Thermal Fuse and the High limit thermostat.
In most cases this is going to be forign to you and you should call a tech for service.

Tips for a great answer:
Hi troy crawford,
Well if it beeps for 3
times and then shut off when you press start it means that the dryer thinks
that dryer door is open. You will have to replace your door switch to fix the
problem. or you can also try closing the door normally, then
firmly press on the top edge of the door. You will hear the final latch grab,
then you press and hold the start button. many time it will works...
