GE DBL333GB Gas Dryer burner comes on one time only

The burner only comes on first time . If the dryer has not been used and is at room temp, the burner will come on the first time, heat to about 110 deg, measured at the lint screen then go out. The igniter will continue to come on and I hear a solenoid click but the burner will not come on again. It appears that the only time the burner comes on is if the entire dryer has cooled down to room temp again.
