Water leaking under fridge

a contant runing of water is most likely a leak in the ice maker supply hose , an intermitant drip of water is a drip pan thats full in bottom of fridge (closest to floor ) this water comes from the auto defrost cycle most times this water evaporates away , but as fridge gets older it makes more frost that needs melted hence more water ,sometimes it over comes the pan and runs to floor , a good flashlight and getting down to look underneath usually tells you source of leak

My fridge model CTF2123AR leaks water under bottom pull drawer. this pools water on the floor

Water found under the tray is due to excess defrost specially when the fridge is set to a lower temperature due to heavy frosting.
So during defrosting the excess water flows into the tray and overflows out which incidently has flooded on the floor.
What could be done is to drain off the tank, fully defrost the fridge by shutting down for few hours and then setting the fridge/freezer to a normal temperature.

Refrigerator keeps defrosting and depositing water in fridge.

if your food is staying cold your fridge is working fine, you probably have a blocked drain.you will find water under criper draws and maybe leaking out on floor, take off the back freezer wall and take out floor, melt out the drain and remove all the ice on freezer floor, now you have to clean out the drain,i use a steamer that you can buy for like 40 bucks,it's a shark super steamer,it will clean out all the slime that builds up in the drain line or you have to snake out the drain line with a plastic tie or something, when you think you cleaned out the line pour hot water into the drain and if the water goes down you know you unclogged it,you can buy a heater probe that installs down the drain and wraps around the heater so the line can't freeze up again,if this is not your problem you can advance the timer in the fridge side on the ceiling by turning it with a screw driver until it comes out of defrost and if it was sticking or not coming out of defrost on it's own change the timer the new part number for your timer is 2183400 hope this helps

Water on floor under front of fridge

CHECK AT THE BACK OF YOUR FRIDGE IF THE DRAIN PIPE IS STILL ON THE COMPRESSOR. ON TOP OF THE COMPRESSOR THERE IS A BUCKET WHERE THE WATER FROM THE DRAIN PIPE RUNS IN. THE HEAT OF THE COMPRESSOR CAUSES THE WATER TO EVAPORATE.

Fridge 102H, R600a now about 12 yrs old leaks water onto floor. I have checked the outlet pipe from the fridge and the receiving dish. The pipe is clear. The receiving dish has water in it although it...

The pan will continue to have water in it. The defrost system water drips in the pan where it is evaporated by the condenser fan blowing on it.
Does this pan overflow? Is the water on the floor coming from this pan? Or could it be coming from the water inlet valve where the water supply comes in? Does the water come out the freezer or fridge door at the bottom?

Lickage of water from frost free fridge

actually a frost free fridge should leak water but it should not make it to your floor. every frost free fridge goes into defrost every 8 hours for 15 minutes where it will melt the ice off the coils. there is a pan underneath the fridge to catch this water. it should evaporate before the next defrost cycle there is not much water that comes out. you may want to pull the front cover and look under the fridge make sure the pan is in place and there is not a crack in it

Samsung Fridge Freezer leaking water

hi August.
Cause: A blocked defrost drain is one of the most common causes of water leakage. This happens when food particles or other debris clogs up the drain hose, which can lead to ice buildup and, eventually, water leaking out of the freezer and refrigerator.
3 common refrigerator problems you can easily fix yourself

The freezer drain hose will drain the defrost water into a drip pan at the bottom of the freezer. When this pan becomes full, it will leak water onto the floor. This is a regular maintenance task whenever the freezer defrosts. Empty the drip pan during the defrost cycle.
How to Fix Water Leaking From the Bottom of Freezer

Why is my fridge leaking water on the floor? If the refrigerator is leaking water it's possible that the refrigerator has a clogged or freezing defrost drain. If the defrost drain freezes the defrost water will overflow the drain and drip down to the bottom of the compartment, If enough water accumulates in the bottom it can run out onto the floor.

Water leaking

Hi

There are several things to check for: The condensing defrost tray under the fridge can crack or develop a hole and leak onto the floor. A door gasket not closing properly may cause sweating and leak onto the floor. Some fridge's have a humidity switch inside the fridge that should be turned on to prevent sweating on the center bar between the fridge and freezer section. If your fridge has developed a frost free failure problem, often the frost will travel down the suction line at the back of the fridge and drip water on the floor. The heat exchanger tubing can separate and also sweat and drip on the floor. A kit to repair a separated heat exchanger line, comes with instructions as well. Ice maker and chilled water fill lines can crack and leak as well, this is fairly common with the plastic lines as they can dry out and crack.

Please revert for any clarification.
A Fixya rating would be appreciated if you found this to be helpful.

Thanks
Rylee

Fridge is leaking water all over the place.

The defrost drain opening or drain hose is plugged up with ice or crud. If the drip pan is bone dry, it's a sure sign that the drain opening or drain hose is clogged. Trace the drain hose back to see where it pick up the condensate in the refrigerator cabinet. Remove whatever pieces you need to to clean that sucker out. Door gaskets are torn or not making good contact with the cabinet. No? Well then where's all that water coming from, Einstein? It can only come from the humidity in the outside air--your fridge can't make water, dontcha know
