Question about HP iPAQ hw6515 Pocket PC
I contacted HP support because my iPAQ was switching off randomly. I was guided through downloading a patch to fix the problem when I guess the original problem occurred, and now it won't work at all. HP wants £171+VAT to fix the problem - I think that this is scandalous as I was following their instruction and it was a known fault!
Any more cost effective suggestions?
I always try to resolve things the simplist solution First, so please don,t rate this Post. Until i have had a chance to resolve your Problem Here.
Initially i,d have suggested that if the pc ( easier to refer to ) than the long-winded Pocket pc Or Ipaq.
Was set on a power saver mode, i.e turn off after 30 minutes if using on Battery Power. Or Similar.
My suggestion for you initially, is To Try the most obvious First. Hard-Reset. you can refer to your user Manual to Attempt This.
some are a simple, reset button located at the Bottom of the pc, others require several buttons to be pushed at the Same Time.
If this does,nt work, i can offer you a repair service a quarter of the price you,ve been quoted by the mentioned company, if your UK Based.
