My 2g iphone isnt being recongised by my laptop it says USB not recognised. The cable works with other Ipods and I can only charge the phone via electricity when its turned off. Pls help

to isolate if there's something wrong with the laptop, try to plug in other usb devices on all of the usb ports. if other devices works, then you need to reinstall Itunes on your computer and get the latest version. and of course, Iphones only work on USB 2.0 ports.

MY IPOD NANO FROZE!!!!!!!!!

I think you bricked it. When it says Do Not Disconnect, it means it!! If you disconnected it while it said that, you bricked it! The motherboard can be replaced, however, and it should work again. Don't think its worth doing that though.
