Question about 2wire (1000-400108-001) Router
For Windows 2003 (and XP), you can't create an Emergency Repair Disk, but you can however create an ASR (Automated System Recovery). This allows you to restore the hard drive to the state it was previously should it crash.
To create the ASR, go to Start > Run and type 'ntbackup.exe' (without the quotes) and when the wizard starts, click on the 'ASR' button. You will need to create a name and destination for the ASR and this will normally be over 2GB, so a DVD backup or a separate partition on your hard drive would be best but you will also need a floppy disk to complete the process if I remember correctly.
More info on how the ASR works can be read at the MS Technet article: http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/7b4f0436-cc90-4b52-b6ab-064f9db8d2721033.mspx?mfr=true
