Perform the manual drum counter reset. Open the front door cover & keep open. Then press clear. It should say replace drum, press 1 for yes it should then say accepted. Close cover & off you go.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Does it not recieve or just not print? If the drum is low it is possible that the machine will not print faxes.

I replaced the drum in the fax machine and it still say i have only 14 copys left, how do i reset that? I have muratec fax MFX 1700

You are not supposed to replace the drum until it says"replace drum"
Not when it is saying "replace drum soon."...you have prematurely blown fuse in the cartridge so now it will not reset.
Try the following...
Press...PROGRAM,*,*,I(That is Capital I), then ENTER.(SHOULD RESET IT.)

When I get or receive faxes, the right side is blurred.

If your getting blurred copies you may have moisture on your drum. Try cleaning it with alcohol(only) . If the problem persist replace drum.

Hi
If you have lines when faxing out it cant be the drum,If you have lines with copy and receiving faxes then it can be the drum.

TX problem

If I understand you right, what you send, people are receiving blank sheets?
When you try to run a copy are those blank also?
If so your problem is with the scanner. The drum should have nothing to do with sent faxes.
Unless your putting the paper in the scanner upside down. And if you ran it enough to need a drum I can't imagine that .
