Usually there are caps covering the hinges and handles on the door. normally you would pop the caps off undo the screws and re-mount them on the opposite side you removed them from

to put the handle back in correct position and then give a gentle tug on the
door. If this will not help then it can be opened by pushing on either side of
the vertical center tab in the door opening and then pulling on the door, this
will actually release the actuator mechanism. After this is done the handle
should be replaced. Hope this
