Are you inserting a real game cartridge or a slot-1 flash card device (such as r4, m3, n5...)?

It appears there's a dault with the data/memory card.

You will need to upgrade the XMenu:

How to upgrade the XMenu:
>>>> Warning! All data on the MK5 will lose after you start the upgrade! Please backup it first!! <<<<
1. Use MK5 USB Linker connect PC , and enter USB data exchange mode , PC will detect one removable disk (MK5) have inserted
2. Copy "MK5_Menu_V1.39_AUTO_Upgrade.nds" to MK5
3. Restart NDS, enter MK5 menu, choose "MK5_Menu_V1.39_AUTO_Upgrade.nds" and run it,and restart NDS.
4. When NDS power on, hold L+R+A+B+DOWN to fast format whole MK5, or you can use A+B+START+SELECT+UP to make a low-level format ,then copy all data (include folder) from this uncompressed file.
5. Now new system is ready ,restart NDS and enjoy it!

I have changed the pin connector on my nes, it does not flash anymore but now i get a blank screen can someone help me?

First try connecting through the av ports on the side of the console rather than the RF port on the rear of the unit.

If that doesn't work then your problem is likely a loose connection inside, go back in and reassemble.

I have had this issue with several consoles; these two solutions usually take care of it, though in rare cases a defective 72 pin connector was at fault even though it was brand new.

Good luck.

Whenever i turn on my NES the power light blinks and the screen blinks colors, why?

Hi sounds like the common fault found with these old retro consoles. Flashing light is mostly because the system does not make good contact with the game. which may be because of a worn out connector pins in side the console or dirty games recommend cleaning all your games with a game cartridge paste cleaner and replacing the connector pin with a new one. see http://www.gameoz.com.au/store/nintendo-entertainment-system/nes-accessories/ they carry these items and included photo instructions.

Disk reader etches ring in disk.

With the Wii it can either do this when it's moved or it can be a fault (although both uncommon). If it's doing it all the time with every disc then it's a fault with the machine and you need to talk to the store you bought it from, or Nintendo. If it's only done it one time to one disc then chances are it won't happen again

When a disk is inserted, an error message comes up saying that it is unable to read the disk. We tried a disk cleaner which didn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

I would recommend that you take the console to a game store and get them to have a look at it, it sounds like there might be a fault with the CD drive or the laser not reading the discs properly

When disc is in it says there is no disc

Is the disk clean, no visible dirt or scratches?
Have you inserted it the right side up?

Do other disks work or do all disks bring the same message?

If not, it might be that the laser of the disk drive is dead. It can be replaced, but you might need professional assistance. Contact a video game service center for more information.

Game not recognized

Hi guest n mikec1993 i had this problem with a new console i brought for my son for xmas. Try cleaning the laser with a cd cleaning disk also wash the disks with luke warm water and a spot of washing up liquid then dry thouroughly before inserting disk into console for some unknown reason the laser dosen't read the disk even when it looks clean. Remember to wipe disk from the inside out lightly i found a old cotton tea cloth works best.

When this "freeze" occurs, turn off the DS system and remove and re-insert the game cartridge several times. Turn the system back on and the game should appear. If not, repeat this procedure.
