hi... my camera was not active in my pc, i try to install the software cd & plug the UBS cable camera inn my computer but i try view my cam he not function the affaoir in my screen pc in not proper fix. what solution my situation in my camera pls answer me immedially.. thnks & more power

I have a HP webcam. no idea what make/ no driver cd. got it as a gift.
Have a HP Pavilion a6030in, running on Windows Vista. The web cam has no button on it to operate/ switch on. Looks extremely basic
Has a circular lens and sits on a circular base. black in colour with a silver casing
