Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

try taking out the memory card and starting it up, you might have corrupted the memory card also try taking the battery out while it is unplugged and reinserting it, make sure when you power it on you hole the power slider up for a few seconds sometimes it takes a while to power it on and off.

Can't play on the new PSP, games in the memory but

Hi,

I guess you pulled off the memory card from another of your psp that runs on a lower version. This would not play on the new psp 3006, i guess you won't also want to mess your battery up whilst trying to downgrade.

I suggest that you get the UMDs for the games you wish to play. That the safest way to keep your psp clean.

Instead of using a card reader, try to use the PSP in USB Mode with a connected cable. This may allow you to access portions that you currently are unable to access so that you may be able to backup the games.

Also, has your PSP been modded with a Pandora?

Son interrupted a firm ware update now PSP won't turn on

my investigations suggest that your son has "bricked" the PSP. Basically the memory that stores the firmware is corrupt and apparently only a main board replacement will fix the issue.

A google search found THIS. I have no affiliation with them and have never used them though.. might be worth a call at least??

PSP with corrupt/unofficial firmware 3.03 OE-C (Code DADADADA)

Try to upgrade it 3.52 first and then jump to the latest 3.90. If you want to keep a CFW then check out http://www.dark-alex.org/ for more info.

Worst case you might have to 'unbrick' it with a Pandora's battery. See http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-pandora-discussion-207/t-guide-make-the-perfect-pandoras-battery-124530.html for a really good guide on how to make your own safely and the steps needed to 'unbrick' a corrupt PSP.
