Try adjusting the contrast. Turn the calculator on. Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the down-arrow key for a few seconds and see whether the screen lightens.

If that doesn't do it, please append a comment to this post and we'll go on from there.

On my toshoba pc 17'' sreen I have black spot on the top corner and the bottom of my screen , is my screen diying oley one year old

There are two types of black spots. The first, I call bruising. This is a dark area on the screen that can vary in size and still allows for proper viewing. The second is a black dot. If it is a black dot about the size of the period in this sentence, it is a dead pixel. Most manufacturers allow for up to 5 dead pixels before they will treat it as a problem. In either case, dead pixels and bruising are more of an annoyance than anything. I have seen screens with both issues work for up to 5 years under these conditions. They will eventually fail but how long it takes it to fail, is anyone's guess. There are numerous outlets for new or used screens. If you plan on keeping this for a while, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer to see if they will do anything or pick up another screen and have it on hand to replace it if it should fail.

I can't upload pictures from my Sony DSC-S650.

Goto any radio shack and get a external memory card reader this will allow you to get your pictures if the camera or cable is defective.

Sounds like your digitizer has failed. There's nothing you can touch on the screen, right?

Black screen on my hitachi ultravision 55 inch plasma tv

With a black screen, it could be any number of things. You cold have a bad Y sustain brd, Z sustain brd, digital brd, etc. As the tv powers on it develops turn on signals to the power supply. If there are any bad drive boards, these signals will not be developed thus not allowing the power supply to fully energize. This repair will probably require a qualified technician.
