Left side margin is fading out right side margin is printing correctly
The printer prints correctly except for on the left side margin it fades out and is kind of pixelated ... replaced head carridge and brand new cartridges so it is not that could it be that something broke inside the printer?

First try to align the printer head either with software or at the printer control panel. If that one couldn't solve the problem then you may have the encoder strip dirty at left side. It is not easy to access the encoder strip, sent it to workshop.

i have found that removing the toners, and shaking them side to side, while keeping them horizontal, which seems to spread the toner for even distribution. This can sometimes fix the problems with fading prints. hope it helps. Margins i think might be a problem with the wysiwyg of the program, some don't do it well, but also excel in particular has a shrink to fit page option, you may find the percentage not at 100%. you can also copy an excel table to word and print from that if it is driving you nuts.
I have a SCX-4100 Samsung, replaced the tonger cartridge, it was working fine for a few hundred sheets of printing, but after that, the left side of the page was printed very light, faded. If I run the "Clean Drum", it will print a litter better, but still faded. What can I do to correct this problem? Thank you TT
