Go and click at the start up - programs - all programs and try to locate the skype in this area. Since you located it use it. If you want the shortcut for skype at your desktop, right click on it (through start - programs etc as before) and chose "send to my desktop (create shortcut)"

How can i install my A4Tech web cam for free?thanks

Hi,
As much I want to give you the exact answer for your question, I can't because you did not provide the model of the webcam. But you don't need to worry, I will still answer your question as much as I can. You can go to this link, this is the official website for you to download the driver for A4Tech webcamera: http://www.a4tech.com/downloads.asp. Once you are on that page on the middle part of the page there's a drop down menu that you can select from what is the model of your webcamera. Then once your done choosing your webcamera model, please download it and install in your computer. Instructions on how will you install is also on the installer.
I hope I answered your question.
Thanks a lot!

I am having a INTEX IT 305WC webcamera of 2005 model. It runs well on windowsXP till a few days back.. I installed now windows 7. Now I cannot instal the web cam. Maybe the drivers are to be updated....

I found this, maybe it will help you.

Hey, Intex web cam (in my case IT - 305WC) can work on Windows 7 if you download camsplitter software. After installation select camsplitter as an option for setup video source. Now if any settings are required (for example doing video conferencing in skype) then select camsplitter as webcam instead of VIMICRO or Avermedia.
This has solved my problem and hopefully it will solve yours also. Download camsplitter at http://download.cnet.com/CamSplitter/3000-2348_4-10276275.html or other websites.

Regards

HAVE YOU SET CAM UP WITH SKYPE
IF THIS DOES'NT HELP UNINSTALL SKYPE THEN REINSTALL AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETUP-----

Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on
Audio Settings
and set the Microphone and Speakers
to the computer Audio Card.
Then click on the Video Settings.
The camera if installed properly
will come up and show a picture.
Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.

Webcam - Recipients can't see me.

Hi,
I got this of Skype.
We are sorry to hear that you are having problems with Skype video.
Thank you for contacting Skype customer support about your video settings.
If you are using a Logitech webcam, please follow the steps below:
NB! To begin with please close Skype and make sure that you have unplugged the webcamera before installing the installation software that came with it.
1) Go to the control panel and open Add/Remove programs. Then from there uninstall any Logitech webcam software and Logitech webcam drivers from the list shown.
2) Download the latest drivers for your webcam from
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/405/&cl=roeu,en?prodcrid=405

3) Open the webcam installer package by double clicking it.
Now select: Custom installation (advanced) and click next. You are now given a choice whether you would like to install the software and drivers or just the drivers. Please select the second option (Logitech QuickCam drivers) then uncheck 'Enable VoIP Device Management' and click 'Next'. Accept the agreements and on the next page select 'I do not want to activate this Service' (Logitech destkop Messenger). Click 'Next' and the Logitech drivers should be installed. Restart your system and plug in your webcam. Your webcam should now be correctly installed.

There is a ball on the top you can turn L&R to focus the image but you need enough light to get a decent image.
