hate to stae the obvious and painfull answer, but that nees to go back to the shop where if the sales guy cant get it sorted for you it could be a firmware crash and tus a warranty replacement, i know the manual is not that good in this specif area. and a non warranty reset may cost money, if warranty does not cover this specific area of adventure as it is possible they could blame the content of the media being corrupted in some way, could be ahrd one.
however you could try remoing the disk and resetting the system according to manual frist.
good luck ;-)

Unplug and plug back in. It should go through a automatic process, ejecting any discs that are inside. If all you hear is a mechanical noise, try this again only with the disc trays facing the ceiling.

Try replacing the battery on the bottom of the system - alot of people miss it because you have it constantly plugged into the mains, but replacing this (somehow) re-sets the system, and 9 times out of 10 solves the issue.

Unfortunately Bose will not release their schematics or parts lists,
effectively giving them a monopoly on repairs. According to their web
site, www.bose.com, they will repair most Wave radios for $100 or give
you $200 credit towards the purchase of a new set. Check your options
before you spend the big bucks though. A new HD radio, with better
sound and a MUCH lower price, might be a better choice than repair of a
problem prone Bose.

Amplifier chip/circuit is kaput. Unless you are familiar in fixing electronic equipments better to give it for repairs................sodeep
PS. Buying a new one will not be cost effetive unless you need a change!
