U can unhide or hide the ruler in MS Office Word by choosing Menu View and click Ruler. You can click on and click off to toggle the Ruler on and off.

If not working the the office setting is corrupted due to virus issue and you probably need to reinstall office. chekamal

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do i get the ruler at the top of the page?

What versión of Microsoft Office are you using?.

If you are using Office 2007 you can go to the view menu and then mark the "Ruler" checkbox on the second panel from left to right, that will enable the ruler on the top of the page, if you double click the ruler you can adjust margins and spacing.

hope this helps,

Regards,

Notepad does not have a ruler.

If your just using Microsoft Windows, without any OFFICE software your going to have a hard time.

What you should be using is wordpad.

Click Start
Click Run
Type in the run box: wordpad
Press ok

Wordpad has margins and center functions.

You may want to consider downloading OpenOffice. Just google it, and install. %100 compatiable with MS Office documents.
