Hi,
The Power Cable is usually supplied With The computer Cases PSU. newer Power-Supply-Units Usually Have 1 Or 2 SATA Power Cables Attached.
secondly, the motherboard will provide the SATAs Data Connections. ( Usually look Like a Black Plastic ) Letter L shape connector.
Solution. Upgrade Motherboard And Power-Supply-Unit.
Alternative, look on e-bay or similar site, to find a SATA/PCI Card. And A SATA Power Supply Cable.

- Hi,
Having looked at your Motherboard Specs:- Intel GLAD845.
It does Not Support SATA. And Has 2 IDE Slots for IDE Hard-drive And DVD Rom Drives.
As suggested, you can work around This With Various Cables.
Hello all. I have the same issue. My MB is 845G [P4 2.4 Ghz] and SATA harddisk I need to install is Seagate 250 GB Baracuda with 3.0Gb/s interface, I belive which makes this HD as SATA II. So for this motherboard should I prefer PCI cards which support SATA II over the supports SATA I [these are cheaper].
