Good chance that your driver has acted up. You will need to uninstall the software for the audio card and then reinstall. Also, make sure your volume is up!

I downloaded a audio update and computer only shows blue screen

Sounds like you downloaded a file that is not compatible with your computer.
Press F8 just before it boots and select Safe Mode. Load with network support. In the search box type Restore point. Select a time when it worked and let it restore to an earlier time.

im not sure what volume sounds you are hearing every 20/30 sec if they are not beeps
Restart your computer

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS you can load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

Has a sound card, reinstalled audio drivers, still no sound on my speakers, what else can i do?

The CD has "Diagnosticsand utilities" listed under the "Contents". You will have to boot from that CDdisk. To do this, power on your computer and tap the key to bring youto the "One time boot menu". Insert the CD and then select CD/DVD drive and hit key. Select the "Run the32 Bit Dell Diagnostics". Select "Custom Tests" and run the audio test. If itworks using the diagnostics then your sound circuit is O.K. and you have a software problem or settings for your your audio device is not set-up properly.

Hoow do you open gateway MX6440. No audio. Bootup

Typically, a computer tries to "boot" from several devices:
1. 3.5-inch diskette
2. internal CD-ROM
3. internal disk-drive
4. USB memory-stick
5. network (if a "boot-server" can be found on the network)
6. external diskette
7. external CD-ROM
8. external disk-drive

So, in your case, either

* the "boot-order" _EXCLUDES_ your disk-drive,
* your disk-drive is not connected,
* your disk-drive is connected, but is "dead" (not responding)

Not being able to boot from the disk-drive, your computer probes, via the network, for a "boot-server". Finding none, your computer reports, in a strange way, that "network cable is not connected to a boot-server".

So, the "check cable" means that the Ethernet cable between the network-port on your computer and the boot-server may be "unconnected".

What this could mean is that your disk-drive is "dead".
Take the computer to a qualified technician, for more trouble-shooting.

When 2 pcs boot at the same time on my GSC1464 switch, the one which the swtich's tune too work the video display like it should but the second limit the second computer (the one who wasn't selected) limit...

When a computer first boots up the video card send a request to the monitor to find on what resolutions the monitor supports. If the video does not get a response the card will default to very low resolutions. The only way to avoid this problem is to boot your computers one at time and keep the KVM on the computer until it fully boots to a desktop. This will allow the KVM to pass the monitor information to the computer.

No Audio output device is installed. Help reinstalling audio!

How long ago did the problem start? What operating system are you using?

If you are using Windows XP or Vista, one can do a System Restore. This works in the majority of cases that involve a software problem. If you are not familiar with System Restore, when the computer is booting up, press F* until the Windows Boot Screen appears. Choose Option 3 using the down arrow key on the keyboard, choosing Safe Mode. When the computer boots into Safe Mode, you will have the option of using System Restore.

If you are unsuccessful getting into Safe Mode, within Windows, click Start, the Run and type msconfig then press the button Sytem Restore.

Compaq Presario V2000 will not boot

The clicking noise from the hard disk indicats that you have a intermitten faulty disk and therefore the computer sometimes boots up. If you manage to get the computer to boot, I would advise you to backup or copy your data. If you can't get the computer to boot up then the hard drive is dead.
You do not need to buy a new computer, just buy a new hard drive, replace the faulty drive and install your Windows operating system, all your device drivers (eg. audio, video, LAN etc.) and all your programs. You or a friend have a few hours of work.

Black screen comes up "windows did not start successfully...." choose from safe mode, safe mode with networking etc Last known Configuration or Start Windows Normally. Computer then tries to...

You should opt Safe Mode:
  • On the black screen just navigate throug up and down arrow keys.
  • Goto Safe Mode and press enter.
  • It will boot your system in safe mode.
If the boot is success full:
  • try to remember any software or hardware you recently installed/change. Then remove/uninstall that software/hardware. Also remove some device driver like Video/Audio driver and make re-start. and try to normal boot. If success then install your audio/video.
If no success then I think its time to re-install your windows.
Please post your feed-back.
