Question about Frigidaire ATF6000ES Front Load Washer
Everything seems to work but only for a few seconds, however the machine never get to the wash or spin part of the cycle nor does it display any error code. the timer seems to run down to 1min and just sit there.
the machine is less than two years old.
could the control board be the problem?
May be it more or less the timer points are bad at that part, most likely you have change the timer.

The control for the washer likely detected a problem. The failure code will not be displayed on all models of washers. You can recall the error code by using this procedure:

Hello ctilton2001 - This particular issue can be caused by quite a few reasons. Washer could be experiencing a communication error from the main control board, faulty door lock assembly or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Did you notice a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned or could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly. You can also press and hold the start/pause and cancel button together at the same time for approximately 30 seconds to display an error code on the LED. What error code does it display? However, I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the washer.
